Crissy and husband Michael, who is also a Realtor®, live in Mount Pleasant with their daughter and son who attend school on the Charleston peninsula. Family time is spent immersed in sports practice and games, boating the local waterways, swimming at the I’On Club pool, and exploring Historic Charleston. The family humbly serves the Charleston community through various volunteer opportunities every year. Crissy and Michael hope to share their love for all things Lowcountry and real estate with you and your family, too.
Together we live in Mount Pleasant with our daughter and son who attend school on the downtown peninsula. If we aren’t busy attending sports practice or a game, our family can most often be found boating the local waterways, enjoying golf cart rides around the islands, and enjoying Historic Charleston on Sundays after Mass. Our family humbly serves the Charleston community through various volunteer opportunities. We hope to share our love for all things Lowcountry and real estate with you and your family too.
- Crissy & Michael Rowell
Michael has called Charleston home since 2000 when he relocated to Isle of Palms. Born in Short Hills, New Jersey, Michael’s family moved to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where he graduated Brother Rice High School and then moved on to Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
Prior to obtaining his real estate license, Michael has owned and operated small businesses in the Charleston community for over 20 years. After working in the financial industry, he opened Charleston’s first eBay storefront located on Shem Creek, liquidating material goods large and small for clients. Michael sold the eBay business in 2008, then built a successful marine storage and sales business allowing him to work with his passion for all things boat/marine related. Upon selling Mt. Pleasant Marine in 2018, Michael made the shift to real estate full-time and hasn’t looked back. He has a natural ability to build trusted relationships with clients, and places immeasurable value on his friendships and local business relationships fostered over the years.
Michael’s real estate process focuses on working with all aspects of residential home buying including primary home, investor clients, and vacation home buyers. He has expert knowledge of our local islands and beach communities including deep-water and beachfront. A passion for all things history, Michael also offers his clients keen insight into the background and nuances when buying or selling real estate in Historic Charleston. He is also half English and shares dual citizenship in the US and the UK. An entertainer at heart, Michael has impressive culinary knowledge and loves cooking international cuisine for family and friends.
