She has closed complex transactions within the Lowcountry's island resort communities, historic downtown properties, and the suburbs including Mount Pleasant and Daniel Island. She has also worked for several years assisting national and international client relocations in and out of Charleston.
Crissy has called Charleston home since 2005 and is originally from Michigan. Go Blue! She has worked full time as a real estate salesperson since 2013 and obtained a SC Broker license in 2022. Crissy proudly maintains professional designations including Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS).
Crissy continues to be one of Charleston’s top producing real estate agents since her first year selling homes, when she achieved Rising Star designation from her brokerage. Over the years, she has earned the local Realtor® of Distinction Award which recognizes the top 10% of producing agents in Charleston.
Before her career in real estate, Crissy worked in advertising, direct sales team management, and with her husband in their former marine sales & storage business. She spent her first several years in Charleston assisting a clinical research training program at the Medical University of South Carolina which was a springboard for her real estate niche representing medical professional clients.
Crissy and husband Michael work together on the Rowell Real Estate Team and live in Mount Pleasant with their 2 children. Family time is spent immersed in sports practice, boating the local waterways, and exploring Historic Charleston. The family humbly serves the Charleston community through volunteer opportunities and are proud members of multiple preservation and civic organizations. Michael has called Charleston home for nearly 25 years. He initially moved to Isle of Palms in 2000 after many years of vacationing in the area. He has also resided in Short Hills, New Jersey, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and Charlotte, North Carolina, where he graduated from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
Michael is an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Charleston’s local islands and beach communities, particularly deep waterfront and beachfront properties. He has exceptional skills in managing various residential transactions and enjoys representing primary home buyers, real estate investors, and vacation home buyers. Michael's love for history is apparent in his ability to give his clients valuable insights into the background and intricacies of real estate transactions in Historic Charleston.
For over two decades, Michael has been a small business owner and operator in the Charleston community. He worked in the financial industry before opening Charleston’s first eBay shop on Shem Creek and later established a successful marine storage and sales business. In 2018, Michael decided to focus on real estate full-time. He has a talent for developing strong connections with his clients and values the friendships and local business relationships he has built over the years. Michael is also half-English and holds dual citizenship in the US and the UK. An entertainer at heart, Michael has impressive culinary knowledge and loves cooking international cuisine for family and friends.
